MirodaLab is dedicated to building small, useful apps - but why concentrate on small apps?
Major software companies build massive suites packed with endless features. That works well if you use those tools every day and know every menu inside and out. But most of us never touch the vast majority of those features because we simply don't need them.
Worse, these suites are so bloated that simple tasks become frustrating. How do you find one hidden command among dozens of collapsed menus? If you’re like me, you end up spending twenty minutes searching online, only to discover that the feature doesn't quite do what you need—unless you master a dozen other tools first.
So, we stick to small apps. They’re straightforward, easy to master, and do exactly what it says on the tin.
